POS material for the showrooms.

The challenge

Every Juntoo & Exterioo showroom needs POS print material, such as product posters and price cards, for the presented furniture combinations. All product information is managed in the Akeneo PIM system. Pricing information, however, resides in another system, driving the shop register system.

Production of this print material was created by a design agency. Information collected in an excel file and processed by graphic designers. Revisions, corrections and approval cycles…

Juntoo & Exterioo wanted a more automated solution to shorten production time and save on (manual) design work.

How did 2imagine solve this problem?

The Preparation. We configured a 2imagine Pulse process with connection to the Akeneo PIM and the pricing system.

Adobe InDesign templates, with the Easycatalog plugin, were created and uploaded in 2imagine BrandPortal.

The process. The whole production process is 100% automated. Adobe InDesign documents get created with the latest production data, together with the price information for the chosen date. The result PDF files are stored on a shared cloud service. All stakeholders receive email notifications.

In case changes need to be made to the documents, the Adobe Indesign files are editable in a browser, using the 2imagine online InDesign editor. A graphic designer can also download the files, change in Adobe InDesign app, and update the server version of these documents.

The marketing team at Juntoo and Exterioo create their POS marketing material by uploading an excel file with SKU numbers. This triggers the 2imagine Pulse process. All PDF files get created in a batch process in the background.
